Ellen's experience in Illinois included working with the post-op clients of Laurie A. Casas, MD, FACS and at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston Illinois with clients referred by their oncologists.
(Dr. Casas: "I feel that the patient's look and feel at 6 weeks postop like patients' used to look and feel at 6 to 9 months, prior to incorporating MLD (lymphatic drainage massage) and deep tissue release into my practice in 1995").
Now that Ellen has returned to Port Townsend, WA; she is thrilled to be working at Nourishing Life Acupuncture Clinic! She has clients who come for her sumptuous relaxation massages; for help with postop issues, such as swelling/edema, pain and tenderness,decreased mobility, or scar tissue issues, such as adhesions. Ellen can also help relieve discomfort from radiation and chemotherapy procedures.
